2DNeuralVision was presented last September 10th at the European Optical Society Annual Meeting (EOSAM 2024), as part of a special session on EU projects.

This international scientific conference and exhibition is organised every year by the European Optical Society (EOS), covering all aspects of optics and photonics. This year’s edition took place from 9 to 13 September in Naples, Italy, in close collaboration with the Italian Society for Optics and Photonics (SIOF).

For the eighth time, EOSAM hosted a special session for projects funded by the European Union and dealing with quantum, sensing, and related areas of research.

Marta Sans (ICFO), project manager of 2DNeuralVision, presented the project as part of the EU Project Session on quantum. During her presentation, Marta gave an overview of 2DNeuralvision, shared its latest developments regarding carbon quantum dots, and talked about its collaborations with the Graphene Flagship initiative.
