On 23 September 2026, Graphene Week will host the first edition of the Graphene and 2DM European Funding Matchmaking Session, a dedicated networking event designed to bring together researchers, companies, technology centres, universities and innovation stakeholders interested in future European funding opportunities.

The session will provide a platform for participants to connect with potential partners, exchange project ideas and explore collaboration opportunities for upcoming Horizon Europe and other European funding calls.The matchmaking event is open to both Graphene Week attendees and external participants. Those not registered for the conference can still attend the session through a dedicated matchmaking pass, which also grants access to the exhibition area.

This initiative offers an excellent opportunity to identify complementary expertise, strengthen international networks and lay the foundations for future research and innovation projects in graphene and related 2D materials.
